Hip-Hop Artist Bossman’s Hit Single “Hand Clap” Featured on NBA Live 2007 Soundtrack

Baltimore, MD – After signing a rumored $1.5 million dollar contract with Virgin records and Jermaine Dupri in 2005 but no mainstream radio play to date, it is an awesome testament to talent that the independently released “Hand Clap” will be Bossman’s first official claim to fame.  After selling 10,000 CDs in stores in only three weeks, major labels started calling. But it was Jermaine Dupri and his new Virgin Records powerhouse that beat the competition and signed Bossman only 30 minutes after their introduction. Bossman’s independent release favored so well in soundscan reports Virgin Records could not pass on the opportunity to add Bossman to a musical melting pot that includes Janet Jackson, Brooke Valentine, and Beenie Man just to name a few.

Released on September 26, 2006 NBA Live 2007 has received rave reviews.  The comments regarding “Hand Clap” have been overwhelming and messages on the popular networking site www.myspace.com are reflective of a mass of fans waiting to hear more from Virgin Records next recording sensation and they will.  Bossman’s freshman album is slated for release early 2007 but while waiting, here are some things being said about Bossman:

“…From the second you hear Bossman, you know he understands the importance of lyricism and also how to relate to the masses.” www.hiphopworld.net

“This is the best song I heard in a long time, man. I was born in b-more so I wish the best for this cat in the rap game.” www.allhiphop.com
