HALF NELSON Actor Nathan Corbett Garners Action Article in Right On! Teen Magazine

Baltimore, MD – Playing the role of Terrance in THINKFilm’s Half Nelson was not as notable as Ryan Gosling or Shareeka Epps, but Nathan’s profile can be seen on just about every advertisement or posting for Half Nelson as he and Ryan Gosling work to prove a valuable lesson in an arm wrestling match.  The photo of Terrance and Mr. Dunne arm wrestling has made appearances on national television shows such as NBC’s The Today Show and the wildly popular Entertainment Tonight, Half Nelson also celebrates leading the year’s list of Film Independent’s Spirit Award nominations with a total of five nominations.  Nathan’s photo also appears on the films official myspace page www.myspace.com/halfnelsonthemovie

Only acting for the last two years, Nathan has been able to amass a resume that includes roles in the Baltimore Children’s Theater’s production of Snow White, the Carver Center for the Arts’ Broadway Review, appearances on upcoming episodes of Law & Order SVU, and more notably his principle role as Donut on the fourth season of HBO’s critically acclaimed series "The Wire", which begun airing on September 10, 2006. Nathan’s continued success has also afforded him a three star Oscar Bound rating in the highly successful teen magazine Right On! available on newsstands Tuesday, January 9, 2007.

Here’s what’s being said about Nathan Corbett:

“…He has intangible gifts that should really take him far in this profession." David Simon Creator of “The Wire”

“I’m so excited for the movie (Half Nelson) because we worked hard on it.  …we are like a family.”  Shareeka Epps

Nathan is available for interviews and personal appearances.  For more information or to schedule an interview, please contact Adrienne Alexander 443-621-9506, promotingyou@tmail.com or aalexander218@hotmail.com.

About Half Nelson

One of the highlights of the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, HALF NELSON marks the materialization of a talented young film maker. This powerful dramatic feature takes an undaunted look at the crisis in American open-mindedness, and what it finds is as true as it is discomforting.
